COMMISSARY
Archdeacon Tanya Phibbs will act as Commissary for Bishop Todd Townshend while he is on vacation from August 28th until September 5th inclusive.
INDUCTION
On behalf of Bishop Townshend, the Venerable Jane Humphreys will induct the Reverend Ryan Boivin as the Rector of St. Mark’s-by-the-Lake, Tecumseh on Sunday, September 24th at 3:00 p.m.
The preacher will be the Reverend Robert Clifford. Clergy are invited to vest, the colour being green.
APPOINTMENTS
Bishop Townshend is pleased to announce that Ms. Jacqueline Davison began a one-year appointment as Interim Director of Finance for the Diocese of Huron on August 14th, 2023. Jacquie brings extensive accounting, leadership and governance experience in the public sector to her role with us.
Previous roles include that of Chief Financial Officer for the London Health Sciences Center, the Superintendent of Business for the London District Catholic School Board, and the Controller and Director of Facilities of the Richard Ivey Business School.
Working closely with the Secretary-Treasurer, Jacquie will provide strategic financial leadership for the diocese, oversight of all matters relating to finance and audit, and supervision of the finance team. She may be reached at jdavison@huron.anglican.ca.
Bishop Townshend appoints the Reverend Allie McDougall as assistant curate with primary responsibility for St. Stephen's, Stratford, in addition to St. Paul's Stratford.
The Reverend Canon Robert Lemon is also appointed as the Rector of St. Stephen’s, Stratford, with the Reverend Allie McDougall and the Reverend Diana Boland as the Assistant Curates to the Rector, St. Stephen’s, Stratford, effective September 10, 2023 in addition to their current appointments at St James’, Stratford, St Paul’s Stratford, and St James’, St. Marys.
DECONSECRATION
Bishop Townshend will preside at an outdoor service of Deconsecration for St. Ann’s, 2276 Egremont Drive, Adelaide (Strathroy) ON at 3:30 pm on Sunday, September 17, 2023.
