- The Essex Deanery Lay Leadership Training Classes: Lay leadership courses for 2025 and early 2026.
These classes will be held in person at Canterbury College. Classes are from 10:00 am - 2:30pm with 30 minutes for lunch.
We have partnered with Canterbury College for the courses and they are providing us with the technology support to also bring the classes by zoom. Please join us for one or for all of the classes.

DAILY BREAD COORDINATOR – GRACE ANGLICAN CHURCH, BRANTFORD
• Responsible for seeing that weekly nutritious meals, appealing (and cost effective) are served.
• Ensures everyone is treated with dignity and compassion.
• Creates menus for the following month and makes lists of staple items needed.
• Writes up weekly lists for purchase of fresh vegetables.
• Must be very conscious that a sanitary environment is maintained to make and serve the meals.
• Must hold a food handler certificate.
• Responsible for maintenance of equipment i.e. stoves, frig, slicer; repairs as needed.
• Ensure every shift have a person with a food handler certificate present.
